Hi Everyone,
The Pike Fishing on martins has been brilliant to say the least over the past few weeks. There have been countless jacks from 2lb to 8lb falling to mackerel dead baits. There have also been 7 doubles to over 14lb many of these fish have fallen to lures.
If you are looking for a perfect lake to get a few bite for the beginner and any budding young or older pike angler then martins is right up your street. One of our regular trout and coarse anglers Andrew Braunton took his son Luke Braunton for his first ever piking session which resulted in them both catching a few including fish to over 7lb on simple float fished dead baits. |

Hi Everyone,
Upper Fuzzy has been producing a few nice pike of late with 4 fish going over the 15lb barrier, the best of the bunch being a 16lb 3oz cracker to John Craft from cornwall. Live rudd and roach live baits seem to be the well of late.
look forward to seeing you soon
Andrew

Hi everyone The pike have been on the feed this week in upper fuzzy and martins, gearing up ready to spawn in the coming weeks. The best fish from upper fuzzy was 14lb 4oz which fell to a herring dead bait fished near the jetty. Martins jake pike seem to be becoming more prominante at the moment with 6 fish falling to paul smith whilst lure fishing this week. The best of the bunch being just under 6lb. look forward to seeing you soon regards Andrew

Hi everyone Upper fuzzy continues to be consistant with its pike catch in recent weeks. With another 5 doubles out this week to just over 13lbs. Float and leger fished sea baits close to the islands and the margins seem to be working best at the moment. look forward to seeing you soon Andrew

Hi everyone, The pike fishing has been excellent this week on both martins and upper fuzzy. With 5 fish taken on the fly on martins and yet more doubles coming out on upper fuzzy. The best fish of the week was a plump 14lb 4oz beauty. Most of the fish fell to dead sea baits fished close to the marginal vegatation, please feel free to send your pictures into us so we can post them on the web site. regards Andrew

Hi everyone just a quick update on the pike fishing on upper fuzzy and martins lake. upper fuzzy has been fishing very well this week with 8 doubles out to 13lb 9oz plus quite a few jacks. Fishing live rudd and gudgeon under a float close to the marginal vegatation seems to be the winning method at the moment. Martins lake has been a little slower although it hasnt had many pike anglers up there this week, still fish have been out to 11lb 2oz on small dead trout. As the weather becomes cooler im sure the bigger girls will start making apperances on the bank. |

Hi everyone just a quick update on the pike fishing on upper fuzzy and martins lake over the past week. There have been 4 doubles out since the start of the season to 14lb 7oz, the best this week being a lovely fish of 11lb 2oz taken on a live roach hook bait. There have been quite a few match anglers that have informed me that there is a very large pike which has snapped a few of them up in martins in the last week. look forward to the pike fishing becoming even more productive as the water temperatures begin to drop. |
