Jenny wren has been in superb form over the past 2 weeks with over 200 trout gracing the bank. Many of the fish in the first week fell to small black and olive buzzers as the lake clarity had cleared to nearly 5 feet visibility.
Many an angler took advantages of these conditions David Howe taking 8 fish in two days from 2lbs to over 5lbs. The Orchard family made a visit and took a cracking 7 fish catch between them.
The beginning of this week has seen a complete change of tact, mainly due to the amount of rain we had, which has caused the visibility of the lake to change to only the first two feet being visable. Most of the fish have been caught on a sinking line and small lures, including cats whiskers, viva's and montana's.
Mr Goggin and Mr Town have had some lovely fish including both of them taking a 3 fish catch with every fish being over 2lb 8oz to just over 4lbs.
look forward to seeing you soon
